Album Info:My friend was renovating a turn of the century house in the Adirondacks in NY State, and found this old book inside of the wall! It was a 1917 yearbook of the Plattsburgh, NY Military Base. Of interest to us railfans are some of the railroad related ads and comics found within!

Bear Creek Road crossing
Title:  Bear Creek Road crossing
Description:  This is where the Adirondack Scenic railroad crosses the road my friends house is on. The Woodgate station is behind me. The white sign below BEAR is a snowmobile trail marker. The tracks are not used for trains in the winter, so it becomes a state snowmobile corridor during the snow season.
