Album Info:The Erie 833 is about to be moved to Spencer, NC for the Streamliners event. Norfolk Southern will perform the final move. Much work is going on to prep her for the trip. (Also, during my visits, CSX detour trains, on NYSW rails, roll by on their way to Ridgefield Park, as the CSX River Line experiences major MOW work.) This album will follow the progress of getting 833 ready for the big show!!!

Description:  This is THE moment that the crew hit the button and she started right up! After sitting for over 7 years, the crew was amazed that all she needed was to charge the batteries to get her going. I was expecting clouds of smoke, but was disappointed, as all we got was a tiny poof of blue smoke, which dissipated right away.

Bubble bath!!!

Description:  The crew (one on each side) is now carefully and meticulously hand washing 833 with a sponge and a bucket of suds! They worked on this all afternoon, and by 4:00 she looked like brand new!!
