Album Info:The Laurel Lines Historical Society and the NRHS arranged this incredible excursion in conjunction with the Reading, Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad on over 120 miles of "Rare Mileage" trackage throughout Northeast Pennsylvania, on former CNJ, Lehigh Valley, and Lackawanna Railroad tracks. Over 300 people attended this excursion and all involved did an exceptional job in providing an interesting, entertaining, and enjoyable trip for all!! The trip included 3 photo runbys and lunch in the Pittston yard.

Description:  The Pittston Yard is HUGE! Way bigger than I thought. At nd is the former Roundhouse and coaling tower, where several pieces of ancient power sit, rusting away. There are several U-boats behind the switchers, hidden by the lines of boxcars and grain cars.
